Has failed to pick up either trash or recycling on multiple occasions. Usually we just suck it up and keep the trash for another week until they come back around, but this last time they failed to pick up recycling, we decided to contact them for a pickup as the pail was more full than usual.

We inspected the pail to make sure there was nothing in it that was not permitted, just in case that was the problem. Everything in the pail was a permitted recycling item. We contacted Rumpke on Tuesday (day of scheduled pickup) and 3 days later still no response. Rumpke also double charged for a sofa pickup that we ordered last month.

We authorized a one time payment for the special pickup. Apparently Rumpke will continue to charge a card on file indefinitely.

We are now cancelling Rumpke and switching to Republic. Bye Rumpke.

Good luck with republic they gouge u on price and they are doing away with residential svc
